SEVEN NIGHTS MINIMUM FOR POINT EXCHANGES. BEING A RETIREE, SWAP DURATION & TIME OF TRAVEL FLEXIBLE. WELCOME A LONG TERM SWAP OF ONE MONTH OR LONGER . MY RIVERSIDE APARTMENT IN BANGKOK IS SUITABLE FOR TWO ADULTS AND TWO CHILDREN. THIS IS MY SECOND HOME. NOT FOR RENTAL. 


My river-side apartment, 170 m2 with a large terrace facing the river,  would be a great place for any couple wishing to have a romantic holiday.

The apartment is on the 12th floor of the condo complex with sweeping views of the Chao Phraya River.

Somerset Maugham, Joseph Conrad and Noel Coward singled out the Chao Phraya as one of their favourite spots in the Far East.

David Bowie went on a boat trip to explore the Chao Phraya River during his 1983 Bangkok concert tour. A Thai event promotion manager recalled, 
"He ate sticky rice and chewed spicy Thai cilli with a straight face." "He seems to have enjoyed every minute."

This enchanting river will not fail to charm you as well.

The main bedroom has a king size bed and a large screen TV. The small second bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room is spacious and has a piano and an audio system which allows Bluetooth connectivity. 

The condo has two tennis courts, fitness facilities and a swimming pool.

Tesco (a hypermarket  from UK) is next door. You will find several Thai restaurants, a pizza house and two Japanese restaurants as well as a bank and ATM in the compound of Tesco. 

My apartment is located in the western part of Bangkok where almost all places of cultural/historical interest such as Grand Palace, Wat Poh, Wat Arun, Chinatown are located. Numerous cultural heritage sites are indeed situated along the banks of Chao Phraya river, making my river-side apartment an excellent base to explore Bangkok's rich historical and cultural heritage.

The Chao Phraya River makes a great way to get around. Chao Praya River Express operates a regular boat service up and down the river. Fares are extremely cheap - you can get just about anywhere for € 0.28-€ 0.62. The nearest pier is several blocks away from my apartment. From there, you can go on a boat trip to visit Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew and Chinatown, etc.

MRT (metro) station is a few blocks away from my condo. You can go any part of Bangkok using MRT.

You can spend your daytime, exploring Asia’s oldest and most elaborately adorned temples, newest trendy upmarket shopping malls, skyscrapers, night markets and Chinatown. Your evenings can be devoted to sampling Bangkok's incredible river-side restaurants. When returning to my apartment, you can always have a splendid chill-out time in the spacious terrace overlooking the Chao Praya River.

Hey I’m Tom, a graphic designer living in Bangkok. This is my home, a 41st floor apartment right in the heart of Bangkok city. It’s a great escape from the bustling streets below, and is surprisingly tranquil being so high up. Also the views are incredible and the balcony gets the golden sunset rays from 4-6pm every day! 

The room has a lounge area, full kitchen with microwave, kettle, electric hob, fridge, 1 double bedroom, and 1 shower room. There is also a washing machine in the storage room. 

The condominium building itself has a private outdoor pool, sauna and ice bath facilities, a modern gym, and a 53rd topfloor panoramic working/chill zone.

This is our Main Home in Bangkok city in the modern sub-district of Lumphini in the Pathum Wan district. The area consists mainly of luxury residential towers and hotels as well as numerous embassies.

It is within walking distance (500m) to Chit Lom BTS Skytrain and Central Chidlom department store. It is also close (600m) to the 57.6-hectare Lumphini Park, a popular park for morning and evening joggers. The road we are on is lined with restaurants, cafes, bars, minimarts, spas, Villa Market grocer and lots of street food. 

It is 1400 square feet (130 square metre), fully air-conditioned, has 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and also a guest toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, oven, microwave oven and 3-burner induction stove.  300mbps WiFi and Netflix are also available. The condo facilities include the pool, gym, restaurant & concierge service.

Artsy and comfortable 60sqm apartment, hidden sanctuary on Sukhumvit 38. Surrounded by mango trees courtyard. Located on ground floor with 4-5 steps raised. Private and less crowded. Open-air entrance one step away from shade of  greenery, the closest feeling to townhome. 

I normally use this place as my routine private studio for art and creative mind project which is very good balance for focus, relax, yet very convenience to commuting around city. 700m from BTS Thonglor station. 

The building architecture was inspired by Tropical Modern style which is very popular in Bangkok in late 80s and 90s. The apartment itself is a bit old yet everything functions very well. Home entertainment is all packed up for an example of high speed internet, NETFLIX, music instruments and books. Enjoy nostalgic feeling and a easy breezy stay in Bangkok.

King size bed is 180x200 and the leather sofa is 56x185 (not so comfortable for sleep). There is a bathtub, water heater and washing machine. Suitable for solo, couple, or two friends.

I would like exchange for long haul or five days minimum. Watering my plants I will be very thankful. Classic swap only :) Let's be inspired from this one of a kind journey.

Located on 24th floor with stunning views over the Chaophraya River in central Bangkok, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. A large outdoor swimming pool and sun lounge area is located at the 6th floor. There is also access to a small gym and reading room with books, international newspapers and computers/internet. Wifi is available.

Ready access to public transport (Sky Train), river ferries and a taxi rank - all within walking distance - puts all that Bangkok has to offer within easy reach.

The apartment has its own covered parking space.
