“Bridget's bach in Anaura Bay is in the most amazing location within a stone's throw of a beautiful beach and surrounded by forest and mountains. It is in a group of four baches and a caravan. The inside was basic but comfortable with a large terrace facing the sea. There are no shops or restaurants here so you need to take your own food and drink. As we were there at the weekend we were lucky to meet Bridget and some of her friends and were invited to an impromptu evening meal around a large outdoor fire at a nearby beautifully restored coach house belonging to Bridget's neighbours. A truly memorable occasion! Sadly we were only able to stay for two nights on our travels around the North Island but will remember the experience as one of the highlights of our trip! ”
