“Our family spent two lovely weeks close to Lyon, France this summer. Our three daughters all adore spending time in the sun, and by the pool. Here we found ourselves in lush and luxurious surroundings, at the poolside. The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated - very french in style. The house was located in a small charming hamlet which allowed us to feel ourselves in the heart of everything French. It was approx 1,5 h car ride to Lyon and 20 min to St Etienne. Both towns have their perks and attractions. Our exchange with Regine and Alain was amicable - all practicalities of different sorts were smoothly sorted. We were very glad to find enough food for a small meal at our arrival. It is so important to feel welcome when you arrive in some one elses home. We take great pleasure in recommending this charming house and Regine and Alain, to the rest of the house exchange community.”
