“We have just had the most wonderful swap in Halldor and Hildur lovely house. They were delightful, always available to answer any questions that arose, making our stay very easy and making us feel welcome every step of the way. An absolutely wonderful LHS experience! Halldor and Hildur home is both cozy and confortable with a nice nordic decoration and all that you need to feel at home. Is also very well equipated for children, with games, toys, scooters, a garden with football goals, etc. It's also very well located in a nice and calm neighborhood of Reykjavik! There is a huge family and sports park just walking 3 minutes from home and a wonderful climated swimming pool with funny slides and activities for the kids. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a carefree family holiday. We cannot say enough about how happy we were with the warm, loving and comfortable home and the lovely treatment received from Halldor and Hilldur, their usefull recommendatios and how that made our trip easy and amazing. They know Iceland very well, not only Reikiavik and helped us to decided where to camp in the south of the island and places worthy to visit. Just wonderful for us! As it was a simultaneous swap, when we returned home we came back to a house so spic-and-span that it was hard to tell that Halldor, Hildur and their kids had been in our house! Needless to say, it was a wonderful homecoming to return to an immaculate house! As we said, it was the perfect family trip and as can only be expected after such a fabulous LHS experience, we cannot recommend Halldor and Hildur home more highly!
