The house is very nice, comfortable, quiet, magnificent views over the bay south of Reykjavík, Reykjavík view and we saw the Snæfellsjökull almost every day. It is very agreable to eat on balcony. No, it is not always cold in Iceland, it is a mistake at the beginning, some time before 874, Flóki a stupid Norwegian was visiting "Iceland" he saw floating ice coming from the pole, exceptional and rare (once or twice a century but he found funny to call this island Iceland. The name is still the same. (In France, we have a department in Britain called "Northern Coasts" and people changed its name now called "Côtes d'Armor" because they thought that the old name was fleeing tourists ...) And we had three weeks of fine weather, three weeks of blue sky without a drop of rain! And thank you to Ari and Esther, we hope to meet thm this summer if we find again a place of exchange in Iceland.”
