“Great ski in, ski out location in mini-village Auris in megasystem Alpe D'Huez. Perfect for families, but not for the keen afterski night clubb seeking person. Great apartment with two floors. Lots of old/classic wood details in a cosy interior in a conscious style. The picture do not do the apartment justice. Easy to park outside. Great instructions and communication with Ingeborg and Claude. There is a long souteast facing balcony and it is probably great in the summer as well. For skiers the Alpe D'Huez system is great. Great challenges for offpiste experts if you like, as well as beginners. Luckily there is skiing up to 3330 meters as this winter has been the warmest ever (2020). For skiers: The disadvantage with that it takes a few lifts to get to the main ski area is compensated by very accessible off piste in the Auris area and probably more than perfect for families with smaller children. Another megasystem Les " Alpes is visible from the window and less than half an hour's drive away. Bring a car! No real shortcomings then. Perhaps we could have lived with a few more restaurants and the choice of an upscale one, but now we are trying real hard find find a shortcoming.. Highly recommended!”
