“We spent 10 days in Denmark. We felt really great in Grethe and Carlos's home: they are really nice people. Grethe was very attentive all the time, suggesting nice places to visit and she made a proposals that fit for our children. They also have found 2 baby chairs for the car for us (that was really appreciated). The house is situated in a beautiful place. When you enter in the house you really feel the Scandinavian peaceful warm. I had been reading about “Hygge” and when you enter to the home you can feel it (pace, wood, candles, books, handcrafts, all quiet and slow..) The nieghborhood it’s like a community around a lake. You can find playground, the lake, football field, a little farm with rabbits… The neighbours are so nice and open. It is also well located, in a nice area, near a lovely lake surrounded by greenery but close to all necessary services like supermarket and train station. We could reach Copenhagen in 40 min by train (the train station is near the home 5 min walking) - it was really convenient to go to the capital without car. We really moved all around with train. There is also lots of places to see in North Sealand: beaches and forests, lovely towns, castles, museums. We also liked the Danish way of life - we found it peaceful. We were happy to see how they took care of our home. It was our first swap and they made a great experience to make this home exchange with them! ”
