“We had a brilliant holiday for a week on the Tasman Peninsula and Mel's house was an absolutely terrific base, 1 minute walk from a beach with lovely sand . Their house was beautiful with brand new kitchen and bathrooms, and super comfortable beds, bedding and internal heating with all the mod cons. 2 large living areas up and down, and a little bungalow in the back yard with more beds if needed. We were a group of 5 adults and 5 teens and were so comfortable. We used the bikes and the outdoor fire pit and the fishing rods. The sights we visited during our week were the Coal Mines (with an extra spooky trip at night), Port Arthur, Eagle Hawk , Shipsterns Bluff, Cape Raoul, Roaring Beach and the best ever fish and chips at Pirate Bay. We enjoyed the small towns of Dunalley and Nubeena which had plenty of supplies. The highlight of the trip was the 3 hour boat trip out of Port Arthur with unbelievable scenery and close encounters with dolphins, seals, albatross and a mermaid!. Mel's tips for shopping and access were spot-on and her communications were quick and easy. I would thoroughly recommend her home for a Tasman Peninsula driving holiday. ”
