6 Bedroom Luxury Chalet in Villars, Switzerland

A fantastic and beautifully designed south facing chalet with a large garden, stunning views and so much to do in winter and summer! Chalet Melchior is a luxury chalet arranged over three floors and sleeps up to 12 people in true alpine chalet chic style. It has a warm and spacious feel with an open plan design and huge floor to ceiling windows giving lots of natural light and uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains. There are oak parquet floors, rustic old wood interiors and underfloor heating throughout. The vast living room has a large open fireplace, a 50' TV with SkyTV, SwisscomTV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify & DVD. The modern Italian kitchen has a granite breakfast bar with seating for 4, two 'Gaggenau' ovens (one steam) and a huge fridge freezer with integral wine store for 40 bottles. The dining area seats up to 10 people and leads onto a large wraparound balcony for outside entertaining with a large gas BBQ and tables and chairs.

There are 6 bedrooms in the chalet and all beds are made up with goose down bedding from 'The White Company' and crisp Egyptian linen. The Master bedroom has a SuperKing bed with great views from a large balcony, a walk through dressing room with floor to ceiling mirrors and an ensuite bathroom with large power shower and a ‘Villeroy & Bosch’ double ended bath. There are a further three SuperKing/twin bedrooms, two of which are en suite. In addition there is a double bunk room which is ideal for up to 4 children and a single bedroom which share a large family bathroom. The games room has a 55’ flatscreen TV, Netflix, Spotify, DVD and Xbox. A washing machine and dryer are located in the bootroom which also has a small kitchenette with fridge and double ‘Butcher’s’ sink. The garden is professionally landscaped with a babbling stream, a garage and parking for 5 cars.

Private and peaceful, yet close to the centre of Villars, Chalet Melchior is uniquely positioned and only two minutes from the main Roc D’Orsay telecabine which serves the main ski slopes. It is possible to ski from the back door to the telecabine in the winter and hiking and showshoeing trails lead from the landscaped garden into the mountains. The chalet commands breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, the Muverans and Dents du Midi mountains.
