Flat in alpine resort

“My time in Veysonnaz was one of the best vacations I've ever had! This exchange is a tiny one-bedroom flat in a Swiss chalet. The best part is waking up every morning to the big picture windows that look straight out on the Alps, and then eating breakfast on the balcony. The grandeur of the setting is beyond words. I stayed here in September, and it was a great time for hiking the many trails and exploring the Swiss mountains and valleys. There is every kind of hiking from the "bisses" which are flat trails along the waterways, to serious mountain climbing. The delightful town of Sion is about a 15-minute drive down to the valley. I loved visiting the Barrage de la Dixance. I found the flat as neat and clean as could be. It's suitable for two people - would be crowded with many more. It has everything you need to be comfortable. And the owner, Fredy Kaser, was so very hospitable and went out of his way to be helpful. It was not a simultaneous exchange, so Fredy even invited me to come visit him in Neufchatel, where he showed me true Swiss hospitality, with a barbecue up in the mountains and a wonderful visit of Neufchatel. I'm already dreaming of a return visit!”

“We enjoyed every day in Veysonnaz. The apartment is so cute, very comfortable and functional. The private terrace offer a wonderful view. The area is a perfect choice to ski; it is very easy to reach the ski-lifts : you don't need the car. We would like to stay there longer.. We hope that it will be again to Freddy and Daphne. They took good care of our home.”

“My daughter and I stayed in Fredy's apartment for 3 nights at the end of our Swiss tour in June 2011 and it was definitely the highlight of our 2 weeks there. Thank you, Fredy! The views are absolutely breathtaking - even in summer, with hardly any snow - way beyond my expectations. It takes the post bus 30-45 min to drive up the mountain and then you have a great view of Sion and the valley floor. Highly recommended to anyone considering Switzerland!”

“We stayed in Freddy's flat for 5 nights in February 2011, we are keen skiers and we weren't disappointed. We had a 3 - 4 minute walk to the Gondola and the use of Freddy's ski locker which was only a two minute walk from the bottom of the gondola. The flat is only small but the views and the lovely balcony are excellent. We were very comfortable and Freddy was so helpful with everything, from showing us around when we arrived, preparing dinner for us on the first night and leaving lots of helpful instructions and information about the flat and the area. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for the whole of our stay which topped off a great houseswap.”
