Above all, everything in Geneva is at walking distance. And even closer to us: quite a bunch of museums: Ariana (ceramics), Red Cross, Chateau de penthes. 10 minutes from the UN area and the old SDN builging
Promenades
Parks are all over Geneva. The residence has one, down the street the elderly house shares one with the primary and the secondary school and in this area, each park leads to another one
Exercise/Sport
Running, gym clubs etc... all close. Only 7km from the french boarder on the pays de Gex side, and a total of 23 km to the closest ski ressort on French side (Les Crozets). 25 minutes walk to the lake etc.
Idée d’activités sur une journée
Wow, there is so much! Where shall I start? Ski? Wake board? Sailing? Shopping? Wanna go to France, Italy, Germany? Without talking about all the city destinations Geneva's airport offers through low cost companies for those coming from overseas?
