Notre maison

It has 2 floors and sleeps 7. The attic floor consists of an open-plan kitchen/sitting/dining room plus one bathroom. The kitchen area has wooden worktops and every modern appliance, the large dining table can easily sit 8 and the sitting area has a wood-burning stove and cable TV with DVD player. A spectacular wooden deck is accessed from here.

I am a professor of marketing at a university in Geneva. My husband has his own event company. We have 3 kids.
I will be in sabbatical leave from March to mid-August. I will spend my sabbatical leave in Boston. I will leave with my eldest kid (my daughter - she's 14) in March. My two other kids will stay in Geneva with their father till the end of May.
So we can exchange our apartment in the Alps.
This home was built and renovated with very fine materials respect the perfect "Swiss chalet spirit". We hope that the ones who will benefit from the exchange will appreciate it as much as we do.

It's located in the Geneva lake region, not far away from Montreux, Gstaad, Verbier, Zermatt, among others.

It's the perfect location for short trips with low cost airlines or high speed trains to towns like Paris, Milan, Berlin or London.

It is also a perfect location for people who like to spend their time hiking, biking, skiing, reading, playing tennis, horse riding, in thermal spas or in music festivals.

It is 1h10 by train from downtown Geneva (50 miles) and 30-minute by train from Lausanne and 20-minute drive from the station (10 miles).
