Locarno Ticino apartment on the lakeside

“This holiday apartment in the Italian part of Switzerland is perfect for a holiday of outdoor activities. Tons of great places to visit nearby and wonderful picnics and swimming at the lake just a few minutes away. Locarno is an easy town to get around with lots to see and do – nature trips, restaurants, etc. The apartment is great. Really comfortable, spacious, well equipped. We have wonderful memories of our stay there. Werner and his family are the perfect exchange partners. They left our house in perfect order after their stay here and Werner was really helpful with our trip to Switzerland. Much recommended!”

Bikes available, which is pleasant since there are biking circuits round the lake. Many nice and beautiful valleys to visit. Contacts with the owners went quick and pleasant. “We have spent a lovely holiday in Werner's apartment in Minusio, Locarno. Ticino is awesome: its beautifulness, the mountains, rivers, towns and villages, and of course the lake maggiore and surroundings. We have enjoyed the aperol spritz watching the seafront of Ascona, the cinema festival of Locarno, the cheese with polenta, the wine... Everything so pretty, so clean, so elegant. You have plenty of differents things to do: some village sightseeing, shopping or cultural visits. Also, you can enjoy swimming in the lake or the rivers (I strongly advise the beach at ponte brollo) or even a not-too-cold swim under a waterfall, taking a nice stroll throught the Woods or climbing some mountain. The appartmente is cosy, extremely clean and well organized, near everything and with a nice feeling of being cuddled by trees. Werner was really helpful and I must say he is a very good planner. ”

“Locarno offers something for everybody and this apartment is only a short walk from the promenade along the Lago Maggiore. You can easily get around by foot or catch trains and buses. And after a day of hiking the beautiful valleys or shopping at the it alien markets nearby you can have a quick swim in the indoor pool. A great place to spend a holiday and the hosts were very welcoming. Enjoy!”
