Notre maison

We offer a nice and clean apartment in a rather old building with big stairways, situated on the second floor, with a small balcony. The living room has window rows on two sides and is full of light. There are a big table for 8 people, a sofa and a library. We have a cinema room next to it with beamer, big screen and dolby surround system inclusively of course many dvd's. The kitchen is clean and comfortable with a lunch table, a big refrigerator and a washing machine. We have two additional rooms, a bedroom with a double size bed and space for a third bed and a baby bed and one room with a bed, a bureau table with computer (hispeed), printer and phone. in our bath you can take a shower or bath. our balcony is not so big but goes around the corner. we let grow some fresh herbs and nice flowers in the pots. we don't have a garden, but nature is around us anyway.

We are Bea and Roland, a young couple of thirty-something, both photographers with a baby girl Ada :-)). We love our home and work. we do commercial and free art projects. our other passion is travelling, visitting friends or getting to know new places and people. we love film and theatre and we love nature. How great everything is so close by here! We like to discuss and to cook and combine both. We consider ourselves to be open minded and interested in new things.
of yourse we will take good care of your home.
if possible we like to combine our exchange with a photo project, but we might also just look for some short vacation somewhere beautiful. we love surprises and do welcome you to use our home as a home base to exlore the heart of switzerland and europe.

Where is it?

The building is located in the city of Luzern, in the middle of Switzerland where the alps start. within an hour you are in all major cities of switzerland. We live one minute from a small lake, the Redlake (beautiful natural resort!) and 15 minutes from the big lake (vierwaldstÃ¤ttersee) as well as from the old city with its old fancy city wall and towers and the main station with the modern art museum and a beautiful concert hall. The neighbourhood is rather calm, but nice; there's a bus stop next door, a grocery store, a bakery and several restaurants. Parking is available. By feet, car or bycicle you're easy on the way, either to the magnificent mountains, where you can go for a walk, hike or ski, or the beautiful lakes, where you can do some jogging, go swimming or enjoy a barbeque. The town of Lucerne has a lot to offer, culturally and for sight seeing. The people are friendly and open; there are a lot of bars, restaurants, museums, cinemas and different festivals all year round.
