Notre maison
Our house is only 9 years old, everything is modern including all the kitchen equipment. The 5 bedrooms and the living room have large windows. In the back there is a private garden. The house has a basement plus 3 floors; the first floor has the living room, the kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom, on the second floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, on the top floor there is an open office We just bought this house. The pictures I attached are from the old owner, we will decorate it a bit different, definitely repaint the red wall!

We are a family with 4 children; They are 12, 14, 17 and 19 years old. My husband Johan is from Holland and works as a Information Technologist. I, Madeleine, am Swiss and work as a high-school teacher, teaching economics and law. As a family we lived in Central Asia for 9 years and for half a year in the U.S. We love to travel as a family.

Our home is situated near the historic town of Winterthur. It is a rual area with lots of forest to take walks and go biking. Our small town has a outdoor swimming pool and a tennis field. It offers many opportunities to visit castles, the famous Reihnfall and other traditional sites. A 20 min. drive takes you to Zurich. Only a 2 hour drive takes you to the heart of the Swiss alps. The train station is 5 min walk away. The train brings you in downtown Winterthur in 5 minutes or downtown Zurich in 35 minutes.
