Notre maison

Our apartment is situated in by the river Rhône and Lake Geneva. The quiet village is in a valley between stunning views of the alps on both sides. The building was renovated in 2014. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and living room area. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the children’s room has two single beds. It is a very bright apartment with windows on all sides and a balcony. In the summer it keeps cool and in winter there is under floor heating which keeps it very warm. There is a bathroom with bath and separate shower and an other guest toilet.

We are a couple with two sons, aged 12 and 15.
We are both teachers. We are originally from Perth and have been living in Switzerland for three years.
We love living here because of the outdoor activities and breathtaking scenery. Graeme is an avid mountaineer and climber. We all ski and cycle.

Where is it?

We live in a quiet village with regular public transport to the nearest town. There are many cycle tracks and we are in easy distance to ski resorts and alpine climbing walking etc. It is an outdoor activity enthusiast’s dream location. Situated near Lake Geneva and the many water sports make it an ideal holiday destination. Montreux is 15 minutes by car where there is an annual jazz festival and famous Christmas market. The scenery is utterly awe inspiring.
