“We had the great pleasure of staying in Kathy and Jacks amazing plantation house for a week this February. It is the most amazing property surrounded by flowers, coconut palms and banana trees, used to be an old mango plantation. The house itself is an amazing piece of history built from wood over 150 years old with amazing views of the harbour. It cleverly designed to be open to the breezes so you don’t need air conditioning. The garden and veranda is a wonderful peaceful place to sit and watch the boats coming and going in the harbour. We loved the dogs that Kathy has rescued, they sleep on the veranda all day and welcome you when you come home. Kathy and Jack have a great restaurant called Jacques Waterfront Dining which is one of the best places to eat in the whole island, try the Sunday lunch, it’s a great way to meet the locals and get advice on what to do and see in St Lucia. Plantation House is a slice of paradise in the Caribbean. We look forward to returning their hospitality when they visit Tuscany. ”
