Our home (325 sq.m) was built in the 1920's and renovated 10 years ago. It used to be a theatre; so you can imagine the size of the living room. From the livingroom you enter our garden with a terrace and the wood-burning hot tub in the back. We are in walking distance of the city centre of Haarlem and the train station which takes you to Amsterdam Central Satation in 15 minutes (8x per hour). Haarlem is a great historic town with plenty of good coffee places, restaurants, musea and shops. The beach of Bloemendaal is only 7 km away (20 minutes by bike). We would not want to live anywhere else in the Netherlands!

Our neighborhood is called "Kleverpark' and is a very popular place to live. Lots of young families from Amsterdam move to this area because of its charm and the comfortable location close to the station, the downtown area and the the beach. It's a green area with a nice park and lots of trees lining the streets. Mainly residential, but not boring; we are close to public gardens, several schools and a small shopping street where you can be fresh bread, great coffee, top wine, good meat and vegetables, books, presents and more. Only a ten minute walk from the lively city centre of Haarlem, our neighborhood is quiet at night and very safe.
