Nice and spacious family home (110 m 2 ) near the Vondelpark with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub and shower.
This great apartment in one of the most popular area's to live in Amsterdam (Oud-Zuid) consists of 3 bedrooms and a very light living room. All equipment present is there for you to use and will assist you in a great stay in the city of Amsterdam. Also equipment for your kids, like chairs, toys and asmall bed.
Our house is on the second and the third floor. On second floor we have a living room and dining room with plenty of natural lighting. A bathroom, separate toilet, hall and the big sleeping room. Also fully equipped kitchen with all kinds of gadgets/appliances and american refrigerator, overlooking sunny backyard.
On the third floor you will find the kids rooms, one with a ledikant and one with a big bed (for one person). On this floor you will also find a toilet, a cleaning area and a roof terrace.
Our house is located in Oud Zuid. It is a 15 minutes by feet to the Vondelpark. Our area, the Hoofddorppleinbuurt, is a lovely, family friendly neighborhood, with lots of green ares, water, playgrounds. It allows you to have the best of both worlds, quiet and safety for the kids and still very close to the center of Amsterdam and all the lovely attractions the city has to offer.
Big supermarkets, organic products store, different clothes shops, pharmacy and other shops are within 3 min walking distance. There are also a few restaurants around. Please get in touch, I would love to tell you more about it or help you explore the neighborhood!
We have a two cats (called Dexter and Ninja) that will always live in our house. They are allowed to go outside (only on the balcony) and love to have company.
We are a happy family with two little children in the age of almost 4 and 1 ,5 year(s) old. We live in Amsterdam in a comfortable and charming house on the second and the third floor in a very pleasant neighborhood called The Hoofddorpplein in Old South.
Especially since we're with 4 members in the family we see Home Exchange as a perfect way to get a different, authentic holiday experience.
We love our house, we hope you too. Come and have a look, so you can decide for yourself. Feel free to contact us for more information.
We have a cat called Dexter and she makes sure mice stay way. She is a little shy and doesn't need a lot of attention. She goes her own way and is on her best if you just let her be. She is allowed to go outside one the balcony but not on the roof terrace.
I love this neighborhood. It's not as posh as the Old South, and not as folk as the West, but metropolitan living combined with a small village feel. Perfect for families. Meet the local liquor store owner, who know amazing wine, or the Turkish night store clerks, who are always in for a chat. Eat a perfect (meat of vegetarian) burger at the Australian Drover's Dog restaurant, go to one of the other restaurants in the neighborhood. After a nice day in the city you can walk home through the Vondelpark or grap tram 2.
