Notre maison

It is not that anyone would call our house a dream house. Or something like that. But it is in Holland. And despite of the populists who are trying to do damage to our tolerant society, we are still here. In Nijmegen. Quite unknown as a destination, but with a lot of hidden secrets. There is the sensational river park, woods to hike and walk but the best of all is the atmosphere. Difficult to describe. You can feel the best of Dutch society. Arnhem (very near) and Amsterdam and Rotterdam (1 hr drive) are close, but also the German cities like Düsseldorf (shopping) and Dortmund (football and unbelievable post war architecture) are nearby.
Our house is in a street where no house is the same. The city centre is 5 minutes. By bike of course.
