Notre maison
We live in a child-friendly neighborhood in a typical average cosy Dutch townhouse. The use of an 5 person electric car (with 400km radius) and five bicycles (including "bakfiets") is included. The location is excellent.
It is a 15 minute bicycle ride to the historic center of Amersfoort. Within 20 minutes range drive there is lots to see of the countryside, lakes, farms etc. The center of Amsterdam is only a 35 minute drive, Utrecht 20 minutes. The connection by public transport to all major cities and the airport is excellent. Every 15 minutes a bus brings you to Amersfoort, where you can take the direct train to Schiphol, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam and The Hague.
The house is an average but very cosy Dutch house. It has four bedrooms. One with twinbed and two with single beds. The last room (attic) is in use as gaming/chill room for the kids. It has a PS4 and a sofa bed. The house was recently renovated and has a well equipped kitchen. It has a cozy garden with loungeset, garden stove, eating table and small BBQkitchen etc. Behind the garden is a field with playground equipment. Shops are 3 minutes away (by bicycle).
We are looking for swaps during the school holidays. We are only interested in classic swaps. During the pandemic, we don't want to fly.

The exact center of The Netherlands is only 3 kilometers away, so you could say we live in a central location. It is a typical Dutch neighbourhood in a typical Dutch village. As the distances are short, you can get around by bicycle, for example to visit the beautiful historic city of Amersfoort (15-20 minute bicycle ride). Within 5 minutes you can be cycling through forests or the countryside with farms.
From our house all major cities and sights of The Netherlands are within an hour / 1.5 hour by public transport and/or car.
