Our home is available for points in June and August (check calendar for exact dates). Open to swapoffers for xmas holiday 2020 and summer 2021.
Our home was built in 2005 in a stunning scandinavian style, and is located on an Island in a lake in the suburbs of Utrecht (Houten). We are within walking distance from trainstation 'Houten Castellum', at 15 train minutes distance from the citycentre of Utrecht, and 35 minutes to the citycentre of Amsterdam. The house is very spacious (200 sqm.) light and sunny which we love, yet still very comfortable in the summer because of great shutters. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning, we love watching the sunrise and sunset from the house and are confident that you will love it too! In the summer you can swim directly in front of the kitchen, or walk 100 meters if you prefer a sandy citybeach. The terrace is equipped with a green egg BBQ.
Bikes are included of course!

We are a family of five, our daughters are 6 and 3, our son is just a couple of months. We love spending time together and travel in the schoolholidays. We love to exchange tips about fun things to do and places to go.

We live in a beautiful suburban area with a nature feel to it, because of all the waterbirds and nature sounds around the lake. Its very childfriendly, lots of playgrounds in walking distance from the house. Houten has been rewarded with bike-city of the year (an international price) because of its great bikelane structure throughout the whole village. Our neighbours are lovely and would love to accomodate you during your stay. The view from the house is absolutely amazing and very calming.
