“This was the best home swap we've ever had! The house is big and comfortable, relaxed and homey. Gorgeous feather pillows on every bed with lovely down duvets. Heaven! The canal is right next to the house and is great for swimming. Our son used the kayak every morning to enjoy the scenery. And the bikes! 3 bikes came with the house. We rented 2 additional bikes and had so much fun making the 15 minute bike ride into Haarlem every evening for dinner. There is a grocery store, liquor store, bakery and 2 restaurant/bars within a 1 minute walk. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. We are very grateful to Gretel and Paul for making their home available to us. We absolutely loved it!”
