Notre maison
We have a really lovely and charming house of 190 m2 built in the 1953 in a very popular, safe and quiet neighborhood, near the centre of Amsterdam. It takes 10 min. by car, and 20 min with public transport. Or you can take the bike! It's on an old (small) dike, has a big garden (120 m2) and has a beautiful view. The house has four floors: there is a large spacious living room including kitchen and 5 bedrooms.The kitchen with microwave, oven and dishing machine, a bathroom with bath tub and a seperate toilet.
Amsterdam itself has everything a big city can offer. Less familiar is the underlying Waterland, with its farms, pastures with grazing animals, ditches with all kinds of waterfowl and fish. Beautiful bike and hiking trails in the countryside to known villages like Monnickendam, Marken, Volendam. Even the lesser known but equally picturesque, of course Durgerdam, Zunderdorp, Holysloot and Ransdorp. All easily and quickly accessible from our house. You are in Amsterdam, but it feels like the countryside in the middle of the 'polder'!
