Notre maison
Amsterdam's art deco area was designed by Berlage and is this city's hidden jewel. Our apartment is on one of the 2 or 3 most sought after wider avenues - leafy and green and close to a canal. Restored and furnished in wonderful 1930's style, with all modern conveniences, you could have landed on the set of an episode or Poirot. 5 minutes by tram and bike to all the museums and the central canal girdle of Amsterdam. (Tram stop 1 minute round the corner!) Only 5 minutes to the Pijp - the SoHo of Amsterdam with trendy bars and the best restaurants. Lift - but with two small steps communal hallway)
