Notre maison
A nice 2 bedroom apartment that we moved into and redid last January. The place looks nice and modern and we keep it very clean. It's located within 5 minutes walking distance to 4 different tramlines. Everything you need is nearby; bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and even the biggest market in Amsterdam is about 2 minutes walking from the house. The city center is about a 5 minute walk although the vibe in this area is very much a city vibe.
Any place that I have listed, I would be interested in swapping with for long weekends throughout the month of June!

“My 12-year old daughter and I had a wonderful stay in Rene and Marie's apt. The location was brilliant - we loved being close to the Albert Cuyp market and within 20 minutes of lots of different museums, canals, boat tours etc. The area feels more like a neighbourhood and a step away from the madding crowds around Central Station etc. Our hosts were very generous with their time and communications as well as providing us with lots of helpful suggestions. We loved the corner sitting room shown in the photo which looks out onto the street. The kitchen was lovely to use and the bedrooms very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to return soon with some other family members.”
“Rene was an excellent host and we had a fantastic time while in Amsterdam on Holiday with the family. Rene's flat is located in a very desirable neighborhood in Amsterdam with plenty of restaurants and things to do. The Albert Cuyp Market is a very short walk, along with Sarphatipark. It was a great central location to call a home base while visiting the area. Communication was very smooth and responsive. The apartment has just been recently remodeled and was very clean, we were greeted by the neighbor upstairs, Martijn, who was very friendly and helpful (he even let us borrow his Amsterdam lonely planet.) I would highly recommend a swap with Rene if you are able to work it out. Greg ”

Where is it?

The apartment is smack in the middle of the city that technically doesn't qualify as the city center (by a few hundred meters) , but it really is. The largest open air market in Amsterdam is around the corner, as well as the Heineken museum. There is a nice little park a 2 minute walk away and the area is packed with restaurants and bars. There are 4 tramlines that run nearby.
