Notre maison

Floating house, in an new relaxed district in Amsterdam, mainly occupied by young families with children. The floating house is designed by top architect Marlies Rohde. There is a lot of daylight and a nice view over the lake. In the summer you can swim and sail around the house & have a drink on one of the two terrace at the waterside. The best of both worlds.

The city-center is just a 10 minutes ride by tram. The tramstation is one blok away from the house (a walk from 3 minutes). The tram rides every 5 minutes. If you like cycling, you can also use our bicycles. The popular city beach "Blijburg" is 10 minutes away. The nearest shopping area is a 5 minute walk (big super market, organic foodstore, bakery, butcher, fish market, pharmacy).

As a family we love all kinds of watersports (sailing, surfing, swimming). During the winter, we like to ice-skate. We like to visit the beach, skiing, watch movies and visit the city to go to museum and eating-out.
