historic big family house

Our 265 m historic townhouse with sunny garden is situated 10 min from the centre of Amsterdam. it's located in one of Amsterdam's nicer residential areas, a quiet friendly neighbourhood with a good selection of restaurants, shops and parks. The house is constructed in 1903.
It has a 80m2 east/south facing garden.

The canal ring is 10-15 minutes by bicycle or tram; museum district (Van Goghmuseum, Rijksmuseum etc) is around 20 minutes by bike/tram.
Our 6 bikes of different sizes are available for you for rides in the city and around.

Our house is ideal for families with kids. We host max. 11 persons.
We have a house cleaning service every week and we will have the house cleaned during the exchange or when you leave.

You enter our characteristic three storey house through a hallway with stairs. From there you enter the living room with a fireplace, a dining place with a fully equiped open kitchen and a terrace in our backgarden. We have a TV with many international digital channels, Netflix, DVD player and plenty of books, toys and games.

The garden is facing east south, meaning you can enjoy the sun from early morning until about 6.30 p.m. in summer. We have a trampoline in the garden for kids to jump.

On the second floor you find the masterbedroom, an attached bathroom with bath and 2 showers, the large study with a sofabed for 2 and the laundryroom.
On the third floor you'll find 4 children's bedrooms. 2 rooms have beds that can be turned into double beds. One childroom has a 'doubter model' bed (140 - 200 cm). This floor contains another bathroom with 2 showers.

Our cat Snoetjes goes outside using it's own (electronic) cat door. He needs feeding every day but we can ask somebody to feed hem if you want to leave for a few days.

we have a beautiful fountain 100 meters from our house.
