Our house has a free view into the green from the back, with a lovely small balcony to enjoy some sunshine in the summer. Tram and busses stop 5 min. walk from our home. They bring you in to the city centre or to the Amstel train station to vistit the rest of the Netherlands.
By bike, 20 minutes from the lovely city centre, bars cafes and the famous museums. Since we live here with two kids (girls 11 and 14) we can tell you a lot about visiting Amsterdam with young people.

We’re a family of 4. Two girls (14 and 11 years old).

Niels is a Marketing Strategic and Marije is Goldsmith and art teacher on a elementary school.

We love to be (a little) active in nature and stay in a green area. We like the sea, forest and mountains. Past years we ended our hollidays with a short visit to a city. Our interest is in design and crafts, eco foods, and walking short trails (2-3 hours). Our house is light and playfull but quiet.

We live in the quiet east suburbs of Amsterdam. Child friendly, there are a lot of playgrounds and fun things to do and see. The neighbourhood is closely situated to the highway to find your way around nature and other city’s.
We have got 4 bikes, the best way to see the city center, museums and nice café’s and restaurants. It is a 22 min. distance from all the City highlights.
But public transport is easy to take, there is a tram and bus stof at the end of our street.
