My house is located in the very popular 9 Streets district in the centre of Amsterdam. It is walking distance from nearly all popular tourist attractions of Amsterdam and there are numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance catering for all tastes and cuisines. The house is fully equipped with everything that you will need. There is one main bedroom with a double bed and a second smaller bedroom with both a single and a double bed, though this is meant for sleeping only due to restricted size. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room. Whilst that gives a maximum of 7 sleeping places, this would be a little bit at the expense of some of the comfort. That said, Amsterdam is the type of city where you will probably not spend too much time in the house!
There is a bathroom with shower and separate toilet. There is a roof terrace, accessible by ladder.
There is probably no better and location in Amsterdam but my house is not suitable for people who have problems with stairs, or people who do not want to be in a lively central location. The street that I live in is in a district with boutique shops which is not quite car-free but not far from it. At night, it is one of the quietest streets in the centre of Amsterdam.

It’s in the heart of the canal district, on a lovely side street with many boutiques, cafes and restaurants that leads directly to the heart of the city in a few minutes. Watching and listening to the passing life of the city was most enjoyable from the front windows above the street. It was a great experience to stay in a typical Amsterdam home with tight narrow stairs and rooms stacked upon one another for four levels. Everything we required for a comfortable stay was available and Rob was very easy to communicate with and most generous in picking us up on arrival. Highly recommended.”

We love travelling, its a pity that work and pandemics occasionally get in the way! We also have an apartment in Cyprus which could be available for anyone interested
This is in the centre of Amsterdam, within the belt of canals. The 9 Streets district is particularly noted for its boutique shops, bars and restaurant. Almost every place you would want to see is within walking distance. You are unlikely to ever require a taxi travel around town, its nearly all too close.
Might be nice to rent bicycles and cycle round town like the locals do!
