Amsterdam Canal House, garden, Jordaan neighborhood.

We are a family of 3 kids (6, 3 and 1 yrs). I am a film maker and together with my husband we own an internationally renowned design studio. We are interested in the cultural hotspots of the world as well as relaxing in some coastal or tropical area. All destinations are welcome.

Our home:

We offer for home exchange our comfortable, cosey and specious apartment (250m2) in the centre of Amsterdam at the border of the nice Jordaan neighborhood. Facing west, the house has a spacious, fairly private garden with fireplace and bbq and a very nice porch. Great to relax during summer evenings. At street side it also has a balcony on the first floor. Our house is situated at the water with a private canal boat in front of the house. Especially in the evenings Amsterdam becomes a magical seen from the water! It is situated in the centre, so walking distance from almost all the great things the city has to offer.

The house could situate 4 adults and 2 / 3 children. The ground floor; fully equipped kitchen with vibiemme espresso machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, kitchen-aid, washer, dryer, etc., living area, atelier, porch and garden with large trampoline. The second floor has a bathroom with 2nd toilet, shower and bathtub, living/lounge room with small fireplace, TV and balcony. The house has two bedrooms at the first floor and a guest bedroom at the souterrain (though the souterain is a bit low (185 cm) it is cosy as well. Most things that are needed with babies are available as well as two bikes for adults and a typical Amsterdam Bakfiets. The house can be cleaned twice a week.

We can inform you about Amsterdam and arrange anything you like. We are in the cultural head quarters of Holland! We provide a list of things to do, where to eat (next door and the very city centre), several maps, guides etc.

In addition, exchangers receive a practical user manual (English) for the house.
