The location of our house is perfect to explore all regions of Tokyo. We are a short walk (less than 20 minutes) away from Shimokitazawa, which was rated by Vogue magazine as being the coolest neighbourhood in the world (http://www.vogue.com/slideshow/1080625/fifteen-coolest-street-style-neighborhoods/)! We are less than 10 minutes walk away from Sangenjaya train station, which is only 3 stops from the world famous Shibuya region of Tokyo. Within 20 minutes from our house you will be able to stand on the world famous Shibuya crossing. There are so many amazing places to explore in Tokyo and we have the perfect base to explore them all. There is also a local swimming pool only a 5 minute walk away from our house, which is great to take children to and lovely to cool down in during the Summer. There are surf beaches in Shonan and Chiba. Shonan is easily accessible by train and Chiba requires a car. Both are great day trips.
Our stunning family home has been built with clean, contemporary lines. Our lounge has a high, beautiful slanted ceiling, which is rarity in Tokyo. All the rooms are designed to make the most of the natural light and different temperatures of the seasons. Our architect had style yet practicality in mind when designing our home. We have a central balcony tucked away offering privacy and great views of the Carrot Tower in the Setagaya region of Tokyo. We also an additional balcony to the front of the house. We have 2 toilets and we even have speakers in the wet room so that you can enjoy listening to music or a podcast whilst having a bath or shower! Our wet room also has a heated mirror and we have underfloor heating in the lounge for the colder Winter months. Nothing was forgotten when designing our home. If you would like to hire a car we have a parking spot to the front of our house. We also have 3 bikes and 2 skateboards that you can borrow whenever you like and various board games for family nights in. We have a guitar and there is a piano in the second bedroom for you to play. We also have several surfboards and a body board with fins, which we are happy for you to borrow if you fancy a day at the beach.
