Notre maison
Our second home in the center of Venice is comfortable, clean, and spacious. Our apartment, located in a quiet area not too far from the train station, has a living/dining room, furnished with a traditional couch, a TV, a dining table for 4 people and a fully equipped separate kitchen which leads out to a wonderful furnished garden, perfect for breakfasts, lunches and dinners immersed in a unique atmosphere. The night area includes a spacious double bedroom, complete with a double bed, connected to a second bedroom with two single beds, one of which is a pull-out one, and a bathroom with a marble shower stall. The flooring of the whole apartment is characterised by particular insets of Murano glass. We consider this house a special, quiet refuge in one of the most magic place on earth!

We are Eva and Massimo, a married couple with two children (age 16 and18). Massimo is a yarn agent and I am an executive assistant in a fashion company. We both enjoy travelling very much when able to get away. We have done 8 successful home exchanges up to now and we are keen to continue this great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see ours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in Italy.

Ideally located in the Canareggio area, close to the Gran Canal and the water bus station, the Lista di Spagna and the Ghetto area, from our house you can easily walk and reach Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square in 20/30 minutes. In Strada Nuova, 3 minutes away, there is also a typical fruit and vegetables market in the mornings. Plenty of shops and cosy restaurants in the neighbourhood. Of course we will be more than happy to provide you with all the useful tips regarding Venice and its secrets....
