NATURE & CULTURE & ADVENTURE
We live about 5 minutes walk from a long beach surrounded by nice nature, lakes and parks, it's very quiet and private there.
On the other side - approx. 10 minutes walk from the house is a marina with kayaks, water scooters, sailing boats and other water sport fascilities as well as a waterfront restaurant, ice-cream bar etc. There is a great Chinese restaurant/Mongolian Barbecue around 15 minutes walk (one train stop) from the house. Close-by is a well-known art museum called The Ark, built right on the seashore and resembling a heaving ship.
Even though our house is so close to the beach, lakes and nature, it is located only about 15 minutes by car/train from Copenhagen City Center and only about 15 minutes from Copenhagen International Airport.
There is a completely private garden at the back of the house and a pool with a safety cover. Easy parking in front of the house in a blind alley.
As you can see in the attached photos there is a spacious living and dining area in the house, 3 bedrooms and a little office, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen.
There is fast Wi-Fi connection in the house and Cabel TV with CNN, BBC, National Geographis channels, Animal Planet, several music & sport channels, TNT, TCN etc.
Even though we are hidden in the greenery in a quiet neighbourhood, the Copenhagen City Center with all its attractions and excitement is easily accessible with car/train. The train station is 3-4 minutes walk from the house. The famous Elsinor Castle (Hamlet) is about 45 minutes away by car/train.
There are also tennis courts close-by, several golf courses, riding possibilities, lakes and excellent jogging and hiking possibilities. Just a few minutes walk from the house from are shops, supermarkets, pizza-bar, pharmacy, fitness center etc.
Copenhagen just like every city is known for many things and venues, something for everybody. There are excellent connections to all European cities from Copenhagen, e.g. to London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona etc - air fares with local airlines from €35 one-way. Or you can hire a car and drive to Berlin, Amsterdam or Prague (we do that all the time…), or take a cruise to Oslo or Stockholm.
Denmark is a bicycling paradise - and you are welcome to borrow our bikes while staying with us. The rest depends on our mutual agreement. Looking forward to meeting you…)
