This is a one bedroom unit on a resort 50 meters from the beach with a view of the pool. During your stay you will have access to three swimming pools, hot tubs, gym, tennis, mini-golf. Lots of barbecues for you to cook in the sunshine. Restaurants and bars on site and great snorkelling just off the dock. The resort is on the less busy East Side of the island, an area the locals call the "real Caribbean". George Town, the capital is around 45min drive and home to many banks & financial institutions .The west side of the island has a bit more of an upmarket feel and counts a Ritz Carton , Kimpton and Seafire, among the list of hotels. The east side of the island where the unit is, is much more laid back. The only thing to pay will be an island government tax which is charged at $10 per night per room and a metered electricity fee, average for a 7 night stay is around $90.
The resort sits on a beach pointing due east so perfect for those early risers who enjoy watching a beautiful sun rise. If your stay is more than one week and you would like to include another mini adventure, Cayman airways offer a 45 min flight to Cuba, so a 1 night stay in Havana might be something the more adventurous traveler might consider. The island is one the worlds best Scuba Diving hotspots. If you are not a scuba diver but fancy a go you can take a half day introduction to diving course this includes a little training in a swimming pool followed by a Scuba Dive in the ocean, this can be done locally.
Grand Cayman is a one hour flight from Miami, or around three and a half hour flight from New York. B.A. also offer a direct flight from the UK with a 1 hour stop in the Bahamas where you stay on the plane then a short hop of 90mins to Cayman.
