Take advantage of the extensive walking and biking paths along the Bow River within 300 meters of our house (including 2 tennis courts). In fact if you hop on our bikes you can be in city centre in 20 minutes. And the ride is completely along the river, which by the way, is rated as the 2nd best trout stream North America).
ABOUT OUR HOME A three storey 1600 sq.ft. professionally renovated townhouse (2 bedrooms, 2½ bath (with jet tub and steam) 2nd bedroom has a queen size hide-a-bed couch, a 42" LCD flat screen TV, high speed internet, phone. Our large kitchen boasts cherry wood cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, (gas counter top range, built in electric oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher) and breakfast nook counter.
The dining room seats eight comfortably. The living room is large with 15 foot high ceilings, wood burning fireplace and windows overlooking the park. Off the living room a Provence style courtyard overlooking the park.
Our fully developed basement houses a multifunctional room with high speed internet, exercise equipment, high efficiency washer and dryer AND my trumpet. So why not play some jazz? We use this room as a third bedroom when our kids visit. We have a self inflating queen size bed that we store in the storeage room.
From our heated garage help yourself to our 4 door ACURA, 2 bicycles, rollerblades, golf clubs and fire wood.
If you are active and enjoy the outdoors, both winter and summer, Calgary is a great destination. July - October are great months to enjoy outdoor activities like mountain biking & hiking, golf, fishing, canoeing, strolling the river valley or discovering the beauty of our breath taking Rock Mountains and endless prairie skies. Due to our latitude the sun shines 17 hours a day through June and July which leaves plenty of time to experience our great surroundings.

Or take a three hour drive to Fernie B.C. and experience the exhileration of skiing knee deep to waist deep powder. We are in our 60’s. Jackie is a retired business owner and I, Brian, am a semi-retired business owner. We have travelled throughout Europe, Asia, AU / NZ, Mexico, Central America and want to see more of the world. We especially like France, Italy, but are looking forward to finding more countries to put on the list. So we’re prepared to travel just about anywhere.
