“Anyone lucky enough to have a home exchange with Dan and Cindy will not want to leave. I have just returned from 2 weeks at their beautiful home in Canmore. Just to sit on the deck, with the smell of the pine trees enveloping you, gazing at the snow capped mountains is magical. Words cannot do this spacious, clean, well equipped home justice. Dan and Cindy have thought of everything. My friend and I hiked the trails at Lake Louise and Morraine Lake as well as visiting Bow Lake and Peyto Lake, neither of which should be missed. We walked round Canmore, a charming vibrant town, we strolled along it’s river path and spent several hours in the large supermarkets. The Three Sisters Village has a welcoming restaurant, where you can have a reasonably priced meal or just a glass of wine with a snack. You might even see a brown bear strolling down a nearby street, as we did. A car is essential to visit the surrounding areas including the atmospheric town of Banff with its many, varied restaurants and shops. A walk along the magnificent Bow River and Falls is a must as is a visit to the Banff Springs Hotel (even if you only use their loo). It was 9 years since I was last in the Canadian Rockies and I have always wanted to return. Dan and Cindy made this possible for me. I look forward to welcoming them to my home in the UK.”

“We have had a wonderful exchange experience with Dan and Cindy and have enjoyed our stay in Canmore. Their Canmore home has a stunning view from the lounge room and front balcony of the feature mountains , the Three Sisters, and as luck would have it, it snowed just days before we arrived so the scenery was amazing . The view from the rear of the home was just as stunning with more mountain views and the township of Canmore. We were mesmerised by the changing Autumn scenery. We loved the modern, open plan house where everything is available. We appreciated Dan meeting us and showing us through the house and he also left excellent instructions for the house, hikes , places of interest, restaurants and things to do and see. Canmore is a very pretty town with plenty of interesting shops and good restaurants ,hikes, and is a great central base for Banff , Lake Louise, etc. A fantastic exchange.”
“We have just recently stayed at Dan and Cindy's stunning home in Canmore Canada. The location is great for all things outdoors. The views from the windows of the home are breathtaking and sums up the whole area. The town of Canmore is very nice and in our opinion much nicer than Banff which is only 20 Kms away. The home is beautifully decorated and of a very high standard and we appreciated how immaculate it was. Both Dan and Cindy were also very easy to deal with leading up to and during the exchange. We look forward to greeting you in our home in November. 16/11/15 update. Dan and Cindy have just spent 11 days at our home and it was nice to meet them briefly. They were very respectful of our home and it was left in absolute perfect condition and spotless. We would highly recommend them to any future home exchangers. Lee & Barry”
“Our stay in this magnificent home was one of the highlights of our trip to Canada. Dan and Cindy’s very modern house is spacious and beautifully decorated with fabulous views of the Three Sisters Mountain Range and close to many wonderful hiking trails and sightseeing opportunities. Banff, Lake Louise, Lake Moraine and the Columbia Icefield are just a few and the nearby Norquay Via Ferrata was an amazing experience, especially on a chilly July day with the occasional flurry of snow. Our exchange was organized with ease as Dan and Cindy were conscientious, frequent communicators and did everything they could to make our trip enjoyable and unforgettable. They also took great care of our home which was in perfect condition when we returned. We would have no hesitation in recommending Canmore as a wonderful destination and Dan and Cindy as ideal exchangers.”
“My wife and I spent two lovely weeks in Dan and Cindy's gorgeous home in Canmore, Alberta during the first two weeks of September 2014. Banff has been long been at the top of our bucket list. When we researched places to stay in Banff we were immediately drawn to their listing. We were impressed by the lovely pictures of their home and the surrounding area, but these snapshots pale in comparison to the real thing. To say we were awe struck is an understatement. Their spacious world-class home is tastefully appointed throughout. There is a cozy room in the basement with radiant heating and a flat screen TV, blue ray player, lots of movies, and a comfy couch to sink into. The master bed room located on the ground level has a walk in closet and adjoining master bath has a deep tub, large shower, and radiant heat flooring. The upper floor has a vaulted great room with floor-to-ceiling picture windows on both sides of the room. There is a commanding view of the Three Sisters Mountain Range in front and a panorama of another mountain range on the opposite side. A well-equipped, easy to navigate kitchen adjoins the great room. There is access to a deck off the kitchen in back and leading from the great room in the front. Their home is perfectly situated in Three Sisters Mountain Village; it is private yet there is easy access to a vast network of walking trails and downtown Canmore is less than a 10 minutes drive away. We loved walking into town along the Bow River. This 5K walk takes about 1 1/2 hour if you take your time. Canmore boasts some of the best shops and restaurants in the region. Our favorite place was the Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company. Organic ingredients are standard and gluten free options are available. Banff National Park is a 20 minutes drive. Banff and Lake Louise are gorgeous but the Icefields Parkway that traverses the heart of Banff and Jasper National Park ranks as one of the most beautiful scenic highways in the world. Dan responded quickly to my inquiries and was easy to work with. We give Dan and Cindy's lovely home a five star rating.”
