Notre maison

We are offering a very nice and spacious penthouse in one of the "hip" neighborhoods of São Paulo. We have two bedrooms both with a double bed. Additionally we have a couple of inflatable mattresses and lots of space to put them. The apartment is at two storage penthouse, with the upper level as one big open sitting and dining room with direct access to an open terrace with a dining area, sun deck and pool. The lower level contains a kitchen, the bedrooms, an additional room and an open breakfast room and office. The apartment is a typical Brazilian apartment with a twist of north European style and has wooden and tiled floors. As in many homes in Brazil, there are no heating or AC, which can make June ? August a bit cold. We have a maid who can assist you if you please, with general cleaning and washing. The building has 24 hours security. We have a cat who is very friendly and social and lives at our apartment. He is taken care of by the maid, but if you don't want a cat around, we are able to send him off to a hotel, but the expence will be held on the visitor (approximately 50 reis per day).

We are a Danish couple in our early thirties living in and enjoying wonderful Brazil. We do extensive travelling at all times of the year and we are always on the look for new and odd places. We would love to go to places that not necessarily are at "typical" tourist destination, but again we would also love to go to places that are very common destinations (-; So we are up for most suggestions. We have once done a house exchange (not through a website) and it turned out absolutely GREAT! As we are travelling a lot, our apartment is often empty and therefore available. We are both active professionally, one as CEO the other as a Vet. We value our home a great deal and are both perfectionists, orderly and take good care of our belongings, as we will do with yours.

Our neighborhood (Vila Olímpia) is part of Itaim which has extensive!! variability in restaurants and nightlife. We are located right at the end of Rua Joâo Cachoeira ? the longest outdoor shopping street in São Paulo and it is generally safe to walk around during daytime. Additionally most of the interesting places for visitors are in a range of 20 minutes by car, including the city center, Jardins, the big shopping malls in São Paulo and Parque Ibirapuera. Taxies in São Paulo are safe and quite cheap compared to European prices. The beach can be accessed in 1½ hour by car. The neighborhood is blessed with on of the worlds last "in the middle of the city"-airports and the planes go right by which makes some noise from 7 am til 10 pm.
