Notre maison

This is a very well located studio in Copacabana, just 2 blocks away from the famous beach and a 15 minutes walk from Ipanema. It is a place I own which I use to rent for short to mid term seasons (1 to 6 months). It is on the seventh floor in a building on the main street of Copacabana, with view for the internal area of the building, so it is quite silent. A family building with 24hr surveillance. The studio is equipped with air conditioning, Frigidaire, microwave, cook top, electric shower, cable TV and internet connection. It is small, but cozy and functional.

I am 47 year old Brazilian (more precisely "Carioca", born in Rio) and have worked for decades in the Tourism field, as manager and director of hotels. Now I managed to build a new life style with more independent projects and activities, which allow me to get involved with I value the most: old and good friends, culture, visual arts, writting, self-knowlege, spirituality, astrology, psychology, and of course, travelling.

The studio is located in the west end of Copacabana, just a 10/15 minutes walk from Ipanema and Lagoa, also beautiful districts to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and all kinds of entertainments. You will live like a local, having around you: supermarket (1 right in front of the building), bars, restaurants, cinema, shops, laundry (no washing machine in the studio) and charming residential streets nearby. There is a subway station 2 blocks away. Also from this cosmopolitan area you easily reach by bus or unexpensive cab all Rio - other beaches, parks, sport spots, museums, historical sites, classical touristic attractions, cultural venues etc.... Just walking around home you can experience from unassuming yet nice food places, to charming, trendy bars or even family places, always finding a large diversity of food. You will drink refreshing fruit juices you would never dream of in the morning and at night enjoy the unique and vibrant Brazilian atmosphere in one of dozens of bars you have around home.
