Notre maison

Our home is a brand new, well-located apartment in the heart of the busy neighborhood of Leblon. Our place is clean, comfortable and situated in a secure part of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The building offers the service of doormen who will control the entrance of residents. The kitchen is a smart and practical one; it is attached to the living room which gives us an amazing view of the Cristo Redentor (Corcovado) and of the beautiful coast. We also have a parking spot in the building's garage and two bicycles available for use. There are two bedrooms in the flat, one has a double-bed and the other one has a single bed with a comfortable mattress underneath; if need be, there is also the possibility of opening the sofa in the living room which becomes a large bed. There is hot water in both showers and both bathrooms are functional, clean and well decorated. In fact, the whole flat is very well decorated and the cabinets and wardrobes are very spacious and easy to handle.

We are a family of four. My wife and I have two babies; I am a businessman and my wife is an ophthalmologist. We live in the city close (half an hour away) to Rio called Niterói. My parents decided to totally renovate this well located apartment in Leblon which once belonged to my grandmother. The apartment stays vacant most of the time and the family uses it whenever we decide to go to a theater or to a restaurant in Rio. My parents, my siblings and I are very friendly and we enjoy having a clean and well decorated apartment to stay. My wife and I (Karin, 35, and Gege, 41) are very excited to have a home exchange experience, we love to travel and meet new people along the way. We hope to exchange homes and live a new life experience as soon as possible!

If you are looking for a nice relaxing time on the beach, this is the right spot, and if you search for an exciting stay, Leblon is a place known for great nightlife experiences, touristic attractions and cultural outings. There are restaurants, theaters, shopping malls and convenience stores in very near proximity of the building. The neighborhood is considered an upcoming and blossoming one and from Leblon you have the possibility of easily going by bike or even by foot to any other hip and world-famous neighborhoods in Rio such as Gávea, Ipanema, Copacabana, and others. The sidewalk on the beach located only two blocks away from us is the best way of getting to know the most beautiful beaches in Rio de Janeiro. One of the shopping malls in our neighborhood is the famous Rio Design Center which is a ten minute walk from our place. Leblon is considered the chic and cool neighborhood in Rio.
