Notre maison
It's a nice sunny apartment with lots and lots of light. Has a fine terrace with plants and a view to the mountains and the famous "cristo redentor". It's ideal for a couple. The apartment is furnished with objects I have collected for years in flea markets all over the world. It look like a nice French country home in the middle of Rio!

My name is Maria, I'm forty years old. I'm what we call in Rio a "Carioca da Gema" a person born in Ipanema. I come from a traditional middle class family of doctors, architects and my father is a renoumd professor at the federal university. I'm a script and play writer and I work for television. Because I'm freelance I can consider speding time of and I would like to attend to some dramaturgy courses in England. That is why I'm willing to exchange my apartment.

Where is it?
Votre Quartier
This is the neighbourhood of Laranjeiras. We are very close to the downtown historical area. To the popular night life, places like Catete and Glória and the famous Lapa with are lots of night clubs for tradicional samba music but also where new music experiments are happening. This is a area where tradicionaly intelectual people live. Just bellow the apartment there are what we call the "Baixo Laranjeiras" a group of four bars and restaurants. If you like to know more about Rio than Copacabana you should consider this place.
