Notre maison

Our flat is situated in a very nice condo in Praia do Forte - Bahia. Although it is located in the center of the village, when you cross its entrance, you will be in a very quiet and private place.
The flat has 3 floors. At the ground floor, there is the kitchen and the living room with a huge garden and a splendid view of the sea. There is also a laundry area and a bathroom.
Two bedrooms are located at the 2nd floor, both with private bathrooms.
The 3rd floor is a mezzanine with a doublebedroom, a bathroom and a living room.
The condo structure offers swimming pools for adults and kids, a restaurant and a bar with flat services. It is included a house cleaner once a week.
It is a wonderful place for all ages!

Me and my husband love to travel. We have a teenager girl and a 11 year old boy. We are both professionals (chemical engineer and systems analyst) and use this flat as a second house. We had just done two home exchanges with London and Paris and both were great experiences! Now we are open for traveling all around the world.
Sometimes we could not travel with the kids, and go with a couple of friends.
We also have a house at Rio de Janeiro - Itacoatiara Beach/Niteroi that can be possibly included in the exchange. If you are interested we can send you some pictures.

Praia do Forte is a tropical village located 80km from the city of Salvador and 55km from the International Airport.
It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Bahia where you can go on many ecological trips. It has natural pools for snorkeling and underwater observation. The famous Tamar Project (sea turtles) and one of the oldest constructions in Brazil, the Garcia D'Ávila Castle are interesting places to visit during your staying in Praia do Forte.

This region is also known as an excellent observation point for whales; their migratory routes and the rich underwater fauna, together with the reefs, provide a unique experience.

Nice restaurants and Cafes complete the atmosphere of the village, that also offers good shopping and handicraft.
