Notre maison

The house we want to exchange is a cottage that is located in a very beautiful tropical garden of a Beach Guesthouse. Maresias is the name of that beach. The cottage has two suites; a living room; a conjugated kitchen, and a terrace. We may accommodate up to 6 people comfortably (2 in each suite and 2 people in the living room). There is a parking place for your car and you can also enjoy the beautiful garden and barbecue/grill area. The house is 50m from the beach. Remember that the cottage, although is in the propriety of the Guesthouse, will be used by you separately of the regular service. The cottage that is being offered for exchange is used by the owners during weekends and holidays.

We are a married couple and owners of the Guesthouse Pousada Encanto das Pedras. During the week, we live in the city of Sao Paulo, and work as Psychoanalysts. We love to host people in our place and have an important inter-cultural experience. We have one son, 26 and one daughter, 23. We can offer this place for exchange from April to September. The Guesthouse has a staff working the hole year and this makes it easy going to help you to use the cottage if we are not there personally. Anyway, we would like to have a contact via e-mail with the ones interested in using our place. We believe it will be nice for both part and we can also try to help with some tips and orientation during your stay in our Country. Our daughter living in Finland and we would like to find a house for exchange in Tampere, where she lives, or Kankaanpaa, where her family in-law lives. Next July 2010 we will be able to take some holidays and would like to visit her, that is the reason we are looking for a house for exchange.

Maresias is considered one of the best beaches on the Coast of Sao Paulo. More than 4km of white sandy shore of clean and preserved ocean, offers a wide range of top quality pastime activities, and also peace and quiet of the nature. Maresias is embraced by the Nature, with the Atlantic ocean on one side, and on the other, the Atlantic rain forest. Tourists can go trekking, roaming paths of all levels, visit waterfalls and to witness the unbelievable variety of tropical plants and flowers. Maresias is well known for sports, especially Radical Sports. The most common is surfing, because the world-famous waves that host national and international competitions. You can also try some other popular activities such as Kitesurfing, Tow-In Surfing, Paragliding, Wakeboarding, Swimming, Beach volley and Trekking and Brazilian Frescobol.
