Lagoa da Conceição is one of the best neighborhoods in Florianopolis for various reasons. Its natural beauty, the lake, the dunes and the surrounding hills, and the way to the Mole and Joaquina beaches attract tourists from Brazil and abroad. It has a lively nightlife in the avenue along the lake and in the "Centrinho" (Little Center). There's a gastronomic route all over the neighborhood, some of it less than a kilometer from the house. Aquatic sports are practiced in all of their variety, as are sandboard, Asa Delta and biking.
