Notre maison

On top of the Mantiqueira mountain range there are various rivers and cascades to enjoy. The location is excellent, halfway between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. The weather is usually sunny and hot, getting fresher during the night. Nights are cold between June and August. There are various cascades nearby which are suitable for swimming.

We are on top of the Mantiqueira mountain range, which includes some of the highest peaks in Brazil, including "Pedra da Mina" which is the 4th highest. The trip to either Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo (state capitals) takes only 3 hours. Closer by there are beach towns like Paraty and Angra dos Reis, both in the Rio de Janeiro State.

I love to cycle to the National Forest and refresh on the cascade

São Lourenço is a nearby town, also in the Sate of Minas Gerais, which is much larger and offers attractions like restaurants and a SPA, inside "Parque das Águas" (Water Park), where there are various types of mineral waters to taste and fine facilities for sauna, massage and much more.
