Notre maison

This house is situated in Buzios [or Armação dos Buzios, it´s complete name] that is a top beach destination in Rio de Janeiro State [see below what Frommer´s says about Buzios].
This place has many beaches, and the house is in Arpoador da Rasa beach, a small one, approximately 6 Km to the town center . It is in a condo [here we call it, a closed area with houses and access is only permitted to house owners] safe, silent, sunny and warm [but not hot]. The condo is wide and besides tennis, football and volleyball courts, sauna, adult and children pools, it has an area of native vegetation [preserved area], and most important it ends ON the beach [that one seen on the photo]. The house is comfortable, has two sleeping rooms both with air conditioning, two TVs and DVD players and also CD player. It has every furniture and kitchen accessories necessary to provide a good period of vacations. Has two floors, the first includes an outside deck and porch of around 30 sq meters not included in the 80 sq meters told before[where sometimes we take meals outside, can be seen on photo], living room, kitchen , one sleeping room [with two sleeps and two more under each] and a bathroom. The upper floor has a sleeping room [ with one twin bed and a single bed with a sleep under it] and a bathroom. The rooms are spacious. We also will provide bedclothes and towels according to the number of persons coming [and we will try to provide watever the guests want] .
Every time we go there [as is a second house] we wish we would not have to came back to work on Monday…

  1. I am 64 Y old Phisician and My wife is 63. We are married since 1975 and have 2 daughters and a son. We enjoy travelling, wine and music. We can answer only in English but we can receive texts in French, Spanish or Italian.

    We have never before exchanged houses but we think it will be a great experience.We would like to go to any big city in Europe, besides anywhere in France and Italy

Introduction to Buzios [Frommer´s]
134km (83 miles) E of Rio de Janeiro, 489km (303 miles) NE of São Paulo
It's anyone's guess how small or sleepy the fishing town of Búzios truly was when French starlet Brigitte Bardot stumbled onto its sandy beaches in 1964, but it's certain that in the years since the little town used the publicity to turn itself into Rio's premier beach resort. In the summer the town is packed; many Carioca celebrities own places here, and Argentines continue to love it. Despite the influx, the town has managed to retain a good deal of the charm of its fishing-village past.
Búzios (the town's full name is Armação de Búzios) sits on the tip of a long, beach-rich peninsula jutting out into the clear blue Atlantic. The sheer number of beaches close to town makes it easy to experience Brazilian beach culture firsthand. Geribá Beach is the place for surfing. Quiet and calm and very deep, Ferradura Beach is a perfect horseshoe-shaped bay ideal for a lazy afternoon snorkel. Far from town are more isolated spots to steal a quiet moment with a special beach friend, while right in town on Ossos Beach you can sip a caipirinha at a beachside cafe and pretend for a moment you're young, rich, and beautiful. In this South American Saint-Tropez, everyone else certainly is.
Finally, on top of serious inquisitions into beach culture, there are more trivial pursuits such as diving, sailing, windsurfing, fine cuisine, and endless opportunities to shop. And at night, everyone comes to the busy, bar- and cafe-lined Rua das Pedras to stroll, primp, drink, and party.
