Casa Cristal is a private, secure, “US modern”, “Glasshouse”, five minutes from John of God’s Casa Dom Ignacio De Loyola internationally famous healing center. The huge windows that give the house its name have mosquito screens. When not being used by its US owner, this two floor house rents as a separate “Garden Studio” downstairs, with a “Veranda Apartment” upstairs, each with a private entrance, each with a separate access to external security cameras so you can know who is there before you answer the door. Both units are fully furnished, with complete kitchens. Both units have safes for storage of your valuables, and Wi-Fi. The Veranda Apartment has a king-size bed, living room, and two bathrooms. There is a bathtub in the master bathroom. The Garden Studio has a queen bed, and a bathroom with shower. The two units are connected by a beautiful spiral staircase. A 10 foot high wall surrounds the house, with a garden view below, and an expansive nature view above. Two walls are shared with excellent neighbors. From the patio below, or veranda above, you can watch toucans, parrots, parakeets, hummingbirds and other birds. There is a beautiful garden area off the studio unit, with cashew trees, bougainvillea, and other plants. There is also a modern LG washing machine in the detached laundry area, which has an adjustable height clotheslines under a glass roof for a unique and highly efficient tropical laundry experience. By insistence of the owner, the house and laundry are always FRAGRANCE FREE, NON-SMOKING, and PET FREE. Ecological and unscented products are provided. Take a 1.5 hour taxi ride from Brasilia, and you won’t need a car if you care to stay in the energy of the Casa.
