Notre maison

The house itself is very luminous, cosy. It gives a zen and harmonious feeling. It's a newly built house based on environmentally respectful principles. It has a spacious and well equipped kitchen with loads of ready to use spices. 3 comfortable bedrooms each with it's own toilet and bathroom.
The house has a huge 'wild' garden including 5 adorable chickens providing the best organic eggs (except in the winter), and fruit bearing trees.

We are a very happy culturally mixed couple with open and respectful attitude. We love to welcome people in our home, and we are concerned and socially involved citizens.
We are what most people here would call 'gourmets'. We love to dine in good restaurants as well as prepare sumptious treats to friends and families hence a good collection of herbs, spices, ingredients and cooking tools in our kitchen
Cupboards.
Alongside of our love for food and dining, we try to stay fit, so you will find stationary bike, cross trainer, zumba and other gadgets at our place.
We love to travel and discover new places, people, cultures.
We have a very optimistic perspective in life.

We live in a quiet neighbourhood ideal for short and long walks in the countryside. It is situated close to one of the largest malls in Belgium (l'Esplanade), and one of the most popular amusement parcs in the country (Walibi).
Louvain-la-Neuve, a unique pedestrian university city is only five minutes away where you can find the famous 'Tintin' museum, cinemas, bars, restaurants and sport center.

Our very own area abounds with exceptionally good restaurants of different choices of cuisine.

Within half an hour drive you can reach the following destinations
- Brussels, the capital city.
- Leuven, a beautiful historical city with multicultural spirit.
- Waterloo a typical destination for those who love reminisce war history.

Other potential daytrips within Belgium are Brugge, called the Venice of the north, the Ardennes, a beautiful hilly nature trek, and the seaside.

If you want an adventure outside of Belgium, Paris is 3h30 drive or less than 2 hours by train, Amsterdam is 3 hours drive, London is less then 2 hours by train, Maastricht or Cologne/Köln and Luxembourg are about 2 hours drive.
