Notre maison

Our home was built six years ago. It is a modern and comfortable villa in a nice and quiet area. A wooden floor ( except in the kitchen) creates a warm atmosphere. The decoration has a "design touch" much appreciated by our visitors. Through large window bay, you're directly connected to the back yard and a large terrasse with sunbeds. A barbecue is available. The parents bedroom is on the main floor and has its private bathroom. On the first floor, we have 3 large bedrooms, one office and a bathroom. Cable TV are located in the living room and in the parents bedroom. To enjoy warm evening, a wood stove is at your disposal.

I'm Jean-Marc and I have four children (3 girls aged 21, 14 and 9 and 1 boy aged 18). I've already experienced home exchange few years ago and really enjoyed it. I work as artist manager with classical artist and ensemble, especially in the baroque field. Beside that, I teach marketing management at the university. I love to sing with choirs baroque and contemporary music. Gabrielle ( 21) study comunication at the university. Pierre-Baptiste (18) learns roofer's job. Clara (14) and Philippine (9) go respectively to their secundary and primary school. We all love to travel and to discover new countries and culture.

We live in a nice ans quiet neighbourhood. It's a new area with exlusively new houses. Our neighbours are mainly famillies with children. We are 5' away from Namur city center and from the citadelle. Access to Brussels by car is very easy and takes over 50'. There are 2 direct train to Brussels each hour. Travel takes 50' to Brussels central station. Namur is 57 kms south to Brussels. It's an old city where settlements from 10000 years BC have been discovered recently. Crossed by 2 rivers, the city has been for ages a strategic place where soldiers from all Europe were used to fight. Namur has one of the most interesting citadelle in Europe. Old area of the city are pedestrian and full of terasse, café, pub and restaurant. Namur has a direct connection to Paris by TGV. It is a perfect location to visit a large area including Belgium, the Netherlands, German cities as Köln or Dusseldorf and a large part of France including Paris.
