Notre maison
My house is a comfortable, clean, and happy home in a quiet neighborhood. The main floor includes a dining room with table to seat 6, a living room with a large sliding glass door leading to a terrace, and a kitchen. While on the small side the kitchen was renovated in 2011 and has everything needed to cook a great meal. It includes a new dishwasher, a stove with an oven, a refrigerator with freezer and a microwave.
The upstairs includes a masterbedroom with a great view of several ponds and hills in the background, and two other rooms with beds. The main bathroom is located on this floor. The house also has two toilets (half-baths).
The one car garage includes the washer/dryer and two bicycles for your use.
My house has large windows on the main floor to enjoy the light and the view out towards the terrace and garden.

My house is in a wonderful area filled with green spaces. Located in the village of Hoeilaart, I can walk to the main square to shop, eat, or buy groceries. I can ride a bike for 5 minutes and be in the 200 year old forest areas accessible only to bikes, horses, and walkers that cover miles and miles of land formerly owned by Prince Leopold. There is tennis, golf, swimming, and horse riding all within a ten minute drive. It is truly a beautiful and peaceful place to live.
One of the best things about living in Hoeilaart is that the Grand Place of Brussels is literally 15 minutes away-one of the great central plazas of Europe. Also, Bruge is one hour away, and Paris, Amsterdam, London, Luxembourg, and Cologne are all within about two hours by car or train, and easily possible for day trips.
